The Disney Series is inspired by my love for the Disney movie collection since my childhood. These movies were an essential part of my growing up, and they imparted many values that I carry with me in real life. The main idea behind the series is to break down different movies and focus on a key point of the plot, allowing audiences to relate to it at first glance. After all, who doesn't shed a tear when Simba and Mufasa have a heartfelt confrontation in The Lion King?
The Hunchback of Natre Dame
The Hunchback of Natre Dame
The Hunchback of Notre Dame has always been one of my favorite Disney films. It is such a deeply thoughtful story, full of emotion and meaning, yet it never gets the same recognition as the others. The scene I chose to paint is the climax, when the city turns against Quasimodo. I have always found that moment powerful because it captures so much pain and strength at once. There is chaos, fear, and heartbreak, but also courage and the longing to be seen. Painting it felt personal to me. It reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place, and why I want to create art that makes people feel something real.
Beauty & The Beast
Beauty & The Beast
“Tale as old as time” has always been one of the most nostalgic songs for me. I wanted to capture the quiet magic of that moment: the warmth, the tenderness, and the feeling of love unfolding in real time. Painting this scene from Beauty and the Beast felt essential because it holds the soul of the story. It’s not just beautiful to look at; it touches something deeper. Through this piece, I wanted to bring back that familiar ache of wonder and remind viewers why this story continues to live in our hearts.
Bambi
Bambi
Bambi has always felt like a gentle part of my childhood, a film so pure and full of emotion that it stays with you long after it ends. I’ve watched it countless times, and every time it reminds me of love, loss, and growing up. The ending, when Bambi and his father finally understand and accept each other, has always touched me deeply. It’s such a quiet yet powerful moment, carrying themes of family, grief, and becoming who you’re meant to be. Painting it felt like honoring that tenderness and the bittersweet beauty that defines the film.
Tangled
Tangled
This piece means a lot to me. I made it as a love letter to Tangled; that lantern scene has always felt like a quiet promise of hope, belonging, and love. I wanted to paint it in my own way, not just to capture how it looked, but how it felt. the hush in the air, the golden warmth of the lights, that ache of something both magical and human. As an illustrator, I’ve always been drawn to stories that make people feel; that spark of nostalgia you can’t quite put into words. This painting is part of a larger dream of mine: to create a Disney-inspired series that rekindles that same sense of wonder we all grew up with. For me, it’s about finding a way back to that feeling, and inviting others to do the same.
